In ayat 14 of Surat Ali-Imran of the Holy Qur'an (3:14), Allah Ta'ala says:--

"Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women
and Sons; heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses branded
(for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled
land. Such are the possessions of this world's life; but in nearness
to Allah is the best of the goals (to return to)."

Just think of of commercials we see on television-- they make everything beautiful so as to attract your eyes. That is what Shaytan and his minions do... to catch your eye with hubb-shahawaat, the love of every sort of base desire. Take the example of the city of Las Vegas, where Shaytan and his friends have decorated its night clubs will all kinds of attractions, putting men and women in front of you in sexually explicit ways... "FAIR IN THE EYES OF MEN IS THE LOVE OF THINGS THEY COVET". This ayat refers to loving all kinds of desires, but especially the desire for women. Shaytan and his followers know this. The videos they show on T.V always feature women, rarely men.
Again, in this ayat Allah mentioned children, gold and silver and He also mentioned horses. Even today, horses are the most expensive objects of desire, more valuable than diamonds. Today, there are horses sold for millions of dollars. Rich people- particularly the Princes and Wealthy people of the Gulf- buy these horses and keep them. Why? It is yet another proof of the continuing relevance of the Holy Qur'an, whose passages are as true as they have ever been.
We must not pay attention to this distraction, by concentrating on our religious obligations as prescribed by Allah Ta'ala through His Last Messenger, Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam.
