Rules on Posting Videos

Asslamu Alaykum

The Voice of Islam has some rules pertaining to the posting of videos which we require our valued members to pay heed to, Insha-Allah.

Nasheed Videos:
Videos on nasheeds are only allowed if it is a video merely to carry sound. For example there are nasheed videos on youtube which just show a picture while the nasheed plays.
This type of videos are only allowed for nasheeds.
Videos of songs and nasheeds showing the singers singing etc, are not allowed.

Lecture Videos:

Same as the nasheeds, unless it is of outstanding necessity that a video be shown with it.
These videos, moderators will either approve or disapprove of.

Around the Globe Videos:

Videos posted in this category should have content that would merit its approval.

In other words videos that are showing off content which is already known or believed in by most people, and thus not necessary will not be allowed. Whereas videos that will give off information that people in general dont have knowledge about and can be of benefit will be allowed.

Videos on Jihaad and Islamic movement will also be allowed.

Again these videos will be approved or disapproved by the moderators and Administrators.
