TAUBAH (Repentance)
I learned alot from the following and found it truly inspiring, so i'm sharing it in the hope others will benefit as well...
Commenting on Taubah (Repentance), Hadhrat Khwajah Muhammad Sarhindi (rahmatullah alayh) said:
"If a sin is committed, hasten to make amends with Taubah and Istighfaar. If the sin was hidden, the Taubah too should be in concealment. If the sin was committed publicly, the Taubah too should be made publicly. Do not procrastinate with Taubah."
It has been narrated that Kiraaman Kaatibeen (the Recording Angels) grant the sinner grace of three hours before recording the sin. If he repents within three hours, the sin is not recorded. If he refrains from Taubah for three hours, the sin is then recorded.
Hadhrat Ja'far Bin Sanaan (rahmatullah alayh) said:
"Procrastination in Taubah is worse than the sin committed."
